This year marks the 5th Tattoo-a-thon for CHOC and we’re proud to now be in a position to confidently call it an annual event thanks to your continued support.  We invite you and your studio to be part of this exciting event!

Your contribution goes directly to the children supported by CHOC and makes a direct impact on their quality of life. Give one day of your skilled artistry, tattoo those folks eager to make a permanent difference and help us bring colour to thousands of lives.

  1. The Tattoo-a-thon rate per hour is R850.00 and all bookings for your studio for the day must be made online via our Quicket page. A step-by-step guide to this booking procedure will be forwarded to you on acceptance of your registration. We will obviously require you to send through a list of your artists and their available slots.

  2. We’ve instituted this online booking system so that folks pay their fees upfront before the event. This is to avoid no-shows and to smooth the collections process.

  3. As mentioned, the rate per hour is charged at R850.00 (R600 will go to CHOC and R250 will go to the studio).

  4. The studio’s portion will be paid directly into the studio’s bank account no later than 1 December 2016.

  5. You are welcome to raise additional funds through the sales of temporary tattoos on the day or anything that’s fun and fantastic – in fact, we’d hugely appreciate it!


  • 2 x branded Facebook posts profiling and promoting your studio between 1 June and 17 September.

  • A studio profile with tattoo images and contact details on the Tattoo-a-thon website

  • 8 tweets promoting your studio which links to your profile on the Tattoo-a-thon website.

  • A press release which you can send to your local media to promote your involvement in Tattoo-a-thon 2016
